Dr. Roy Chan is a local born and bred Singaporean who graduated from the esteemed Sherman College of Chiropractic, U.S.A. with honours (Cum Laude). He is the clinic director of Chan Family Chiropractic.

Dr. Chan has successfully completed the rigorous National Board of Chiropractic Examinations (NBCE) in USA. The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) is the international testing agency for the chiropractic profession and NBCE exams are required prior to application for licensure. NBCE exams offer assurance to the public that a chiropractor has demonstrated professional knowledge and proficiency as well as ability in diagnosis, diagnostic imaging, principles of chiropractic, associated clinical sciences and chiropractic practice.

Dr. Chan cares deeply about all his patients and take pains to always fully understand their health concerns. He addresses the health needs of his patients and not just manages their condition. During his internship, he has provided chiropractic care to many patients with various conditions such as infant chronic ear infection (osteitis media), bedwetting (enuresis), lyme disease, spondylolysis, disc issues, pelvic degeneration and extremity problems such as frozen shoulder and sports injuries as well as rehabilitative care post-surgical spinal fusions. His meticulous approach and sunny disposition has endeared him to all his patients, from 6-month-old to 72-year-old! Dr. Chan’s accurate spinal analysis and well-honed adjusting skills have helped resolve many of his patients’ spinal and health problems.

Dr. Chan is trained in a variety of chiropractic techniques that qualified him to provide gentle and specific chiropractic care to a wide spectrum of patients including infants, young children, pregnant mothers, and the elderly. He is competent and thorough, professional and patient. He listens carefully to all his patients’ health concerns and address them adequately. Dr. Chan is happily married to Dr. Tan and manages Chan Family Chiropractic with her, improving the health of the local community together.

Activator Methods
* The Activator Method® is one of the most widely researched chiropractic techniques and the only instrument adjusting technique with clinical trials to support its efficacy.
The Webster technique
** The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and diversified adjustment promoted as a safe means to restore normal neuro-biomechanical pelvic function. Restoration of pelvic neuro-biomechanics with this adjustment also frequently facilitated optimal fetal positioning in pregnant women.  The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) offers recognized Certificate of Proficiency in the Webster protocol only to doctors who have attended the ICPA classes of instruction and have demonstrated proficiency in the technique.
